A quiet morning in Hoboken was the perfect setting for Caroline and Mike’s maternity session! Caroline and Mike wanted their maternity photos to capture the essence of their life in Hoboken before welcoming their baby boy into the world.

We started their session on the Hoboken waterfront, with the stunning skyline in the background. The early morning light reflected off the Hudson, providing a beautiful backdrop. After some waterfront shots, we made our way to the quaint, cobblestone streets on Court Street. The charm of the historic brownstones added a timeless feel to the photos, perfectly representing the neighborhood they love.

Of course, the star of the show—besides Caroline’s baby bump—was their sweet dog, Riley. This girl knew how to work the camera! It’s rare that a dog will look directly into the lens, but Riley rocked her “It’s a Boy” bandana and gave those puppy eyes. She was so photogenic and made the session even more special.

I always love it when couples bring props to their shoots. They add a personal touch and versatility to the photos. Caroline and Mike brought along a sonogram and the cutest little onesie celebrating Mike’s love for golf, which really tied everything together.

By the end of the session, we had explored some of the most beautiful spots in Hoboken, and I was able to capture moments that truly reflected Caroline and Mike’s life here. It was such a joy to be part of their journey!
