When Kelsey and Vinny first began dreaming of their wedding, their hearts were set on the rolling hills of Italy. However, with 200 of their closest family and friends to consider, they decided to bring the Mediterranean soul to the Somerset Hills of New Jersey and celebrate their wedding at Hamilton Farm.
Hamilton Farm Golf Club in Peapack-Gladstone served as the perfect “home away from home,” offering the quaint European essence and historic architecture needed to host the al fresco courtyard reception they had always imagined.
The day began in the sun-drenched rooms of the Brady Mansion. To start the day, Kelsey and her bridesmaids kicked off the morning with a champagne pop in the sunroom, which was followed by an impromptu dance party on the back lawn to set the energy for the day.
Once Kelsey got ready upstairs in her gorgeous Sareh Nouri gown, Kelsey descended the grand staircase in the foyer of the mansion for a first look with her father. The room was swirling with so many emotions it was such a precious moment. Kelsey honored her parents with hand-embroidered handkerchiefs—a small but deeply personal detail that set the tone for a day rooted in family. Finally, after a joyful reveal to her bridesmaids in the piano room, it was time to head to the ceremony.
Kelsey and Vinny exchanged vows at the Church of the Assumption in Morristown. In many ways, it felt like a true “full-circle” moment. Having captured their Morristown engagement session last fall, where we explored their favorite local spots like Coniglio’s and Vail Mansion. Returning back to their hometown to capture their vows was incredibly special.
Because they are parishioners of the church, the ceremony felt incredibly tailored to them. Throughout the service, their connection was so palpable- from the soft smiles they kept sneaking to the way they squeezed each other’s hands at the altar. It was a gorgeous ceremony. Once they were officially Mr. and Mrs., the couple hopped on a trolley with their wedding party to head back to the estate.
As soon as we arrived back at Hamilton Farm, the wedding party “understood the assignment.” To really lean into the organic, European aesthetic, we sourced white parasols and captured candid, joyful moments—the bridesmaids even fluffed Kelsey’s dress like a parachute!
After we wrapped up with the group, it was time for Kelsey and Vinny’s portraits. We explored every corner of the estate, and ended in the sunroom for a “signature cocktail cheers.” Looking back, it was the perfect, sophisticated transition into the festivities.
As soon as guests arrived, the back lawn transformed into a bustling Italian piazza. The layout invited everyone to explore and linger. It was exactly the kind of afternoon Kelsey and Vinny had dreamed of. Strolling accordion music drifted through the air as guests wandered the grounds with cocktails in hand.
Meanwhile, Vinny The Mutz Guy pulled fresh mozzarella. Nearby, the Barnegat Oyster Collective shucked local oysters on the half-shell. Because of all the meticulous detail, the lawn was alive with conversation and laughter. I loved capturing everyone simply soak in the magic of Hamilton Farm and the effortless hospitality Kelsey and Vinny are known for.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, it cast a warm, glowy light over the brick architecture. And, Kelsey and Vinny made their grand entrance into the courtyard! Together, they had transformed Hamilton Farm wedding venue into a true al fresco dream. Every detail was attune to their vision- colorful hand-pressed napkins, antique gas lamps, and even a limoncello toast in lieu of champagne! Shepard lamps illuminated the perimeter, creating an intimate glow as guests dined under the moonlight. Each detail brought their European vision to life!
Overall, the evening was deeply rooted in family tradition. However, the focus stayed heavily on the party. Once the toasts were made, the quiet elegance of dinner gave way to an electric dance floor. Fueled by live music from Joe Baracata Band the crowd that was ready to party!
To close out the night, Kelsey and Vinny shared a quiet, sweet moment topping their traditional Millefoglie cake with a dusting of powdered sugar. It was the perfect Italian ending to a perfect Jersey day!
Congratulations, Kelsey and Vinny! It was such an honor to document the beginning of this new chapter for you. From downtown Morristown to the candlelit courtyard of Hamilton Farm, your day was a true reflection of the infectious joy you both share. Without a doubt, your future together will be just as vibrant, and beautiful as your wedding celebration. Cheers to a lifetime of love!
