Beautiful Rehearsal Dinner at Henricks Tavern | Jenna & Sam

I have been looking forward to Jenna and Sam’s beautiful rehearsal dinner at Hendriks Tavern for months! Talking with their families in the lead-up to this night made it clear just how thrilled everyone was for the happy couple. The night was filled with so much love, thought, and joy. The night started with photos of Jenna and Sam! Arriving 30 minutes before the guests were invited was a wonderful opportunity to do a quick photoshoot! The beautiful backyard at Hendricks Tavern in Roslyn, NY was picture-perfect for a quick rehearsal dinner shoot! With hydrangeas in full bloom, we couldn’t resist taking some shots in the garden. The vibrant colors and lush greenery added a beautiful, natural touch to the photos. We also took advantage of the charming patio, capturing some candid moments in the cozy outdoor setting. Then we headed into the game room for a couple of indoor shots!

Jenna and Sam were absolutely adorable, making the shoot feel effortless. I couldn’t help but admire Jenna’s clutch from Rae of Light—it’s so stylish I want one for myself! This impromptu photo session was a fantastic way to make the most of our early arrival, creating beautiful memories in a picturesque location before we took photos with their families!

Rehearsal Dinner Details

When I arrived at Hendricks Tavern for Jenna and Sam’s rehearsal dinner, I was greeted by a room adorned with stunning florals and exquisite tablescapes, perfectly curated by the talented team at Peonies to Paint Chips. Elegant centerpieces featuring white tulips, roses, and hydrangeas, were thoughtfully placed to elevate the round tables.

The table settings were stunning! Each charger plate was complemented by a fun, green-edged napkin, meticulously arranged with a single white delphinium resting gracefully on the left. I also loved the green glassware which added another pop of green color to the table design. These delicate touches perfectly harmonized the green-stamped menus, creating a seamless green and white modern theme.

Cocktail Hour and Speeches

After we wrapped up family photos on the patio, guests began to fill the room, buzzing with excitement to celebrate Jenna and Sam’s wedding weekend. Special cocktails, “Perfect Match Paloma” and “Marry Me Espresso Martini” were served, adding a festive touch to the evening.

The night began with a very cute toast from Sam’s nieces, who proclaimed their excitement about welcoming Aunt Jenna into the family. Every few minutes, they were by Jenna’s side, asking for hugs and photos. It was adorable to see the love they already have for their new aunt!

One of my favorite parts of rehearsal dinners is the speeches. It was such a joy to watch Jenna and Sam’s friends and family honor the couple’s love and reflect on their journey together. The heartfelt tributes and shared memories truly made the evening special.
