Vibrant Floral Bridal Shower

I absolutely loved photographing this stunning floral-themed bridal shower! The floral theme carried through the entire shower; the floral centerpieces, the stationery, the cake, and even the guests’ dresses! Each detail was thoughtfully curated to create a cohesive and fun day to celebrate Steph!

I was thrilled when Mackenzie, Steph’s maid of honor, reached out to me to photograph this bridal shower. I met Mackenzie last fall while photographing a wedding where she was a bridesmaid. Reconnecting with past clients and getting to photograph them again in different settings is one of my favorite parts about being a photographer. It’s so fulfilling to see familiar faces and capture new memories!

Bridal Shower Details

The shower was at Rare650, a steakhouse in Long Island. Rare650’s back greenhouse room was the perfect location for the bridal shower! The room was spacious and had the best light, making it an ideal setting for photos. It really felt like we were in an arboretum … that also served delicious food and drinks! The natural light and green plant wall made every photo so stunning.

Steph, the Bride-to-be from SimplicatedSteph wore the most stunning Zimmerman set. I loved how she opted for a less-traditional white bride-to-be dress and wore a light-yellow floral print, perfectly in line with her floral-themed shower! I loved how vibrant the floral arrangements were! Vibrant florals are super in style this year, and I’m here for it! These bold, colorful blooms bring life and energy to any celebration, making the event feel like a garden in full bloom. I loved capturing the beauty of these arrangements and how they enhanced the overall atmosphere of the shower!

Bridal Shower Games

Aside from the beautiful decorations and stunning outfits, one of my favorite parts of the shower was the games played! The first game was so unique: there were 12 photos of Steph and her groom, Nick, displayed around the room. Guests had to guess what age the couple was in each photo. Since Steph and Nick have been together since high school, this made the game even trickier! Watching everyone guess their ages was hilarious, and it was so cute to see the love everyone had for the couple.

After speeches, lunch, and lots of group shots Nick came and surprised Steph with the largest bouquet of flowers I’ve ever seen! Then, Steph and Nick played the quintessential Bridal Shower Shoe Game. Everyone was cracking up watching the couple banter about questions like who takes longer to get ready and who has more clothes.

Steph’s bridal shower was such a fun day to celebrate this sweet bride-to-be. It was an honor to photograph your gorgeous bridal shower! Thank you for having me!
