A Beautiful Spring Baptism

Michelle and Matt baptized their daughter, Kendall, at the stunning Holy Rosary Church in Jersey City on a beautiful spring day. The baptism ceremony was followed by a joyous reception at The Westmount Country Club!

I had the privilege of photographing Michelle’s sister’s children’s baptism a couple of months ago and was thrilled when Michelle asked me to photograph her daughter Kendall’s baptism! One of my favorite aspects of my business is being able to see my client’s families grow and capture their milestones.

The day began at Michelle and Matt’s home, where I captured the sweet moments of getting their daughter, Kendall, ready for her special day. Surrounded by her family, Kendall was full of giggles. These intimate pre-ceremony moments set the tone for a day filled with love, laughter, and celebration.

Baptism Ceremony at Holy Rosary Church in Jersey City

We then made our way to Holy Rosary Church in Jersey City for the baptism. The ceremony was particularly meaningful because the priests who officiated Michelle and Matt’s wedding were present to baptize Kendall. You could see the joy in everyone’s eyes as Kendall was baptized, even Kendall was ecstatic!

Cocktail Reception at The Westmount Country Club

After the ceremony commenced, the celebration continued at The Westmount Country Club. The reception was a vibrant, fun-filled cocktail hour. The space featured unique touches including a ball pit and a balloon house for the kids. Watching the kids running around the obstacles was adorable!

Another special touch to the day was Kendall’s cake! Michelle, also known as FlourbyMich, made the beautiful pink cake for the day. I’m always amazed by her creations!

Photographing Kendall’s baptism was so heartwarming and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to capture another milestone for this wonderful family. Seeing families grow and being a part of their significant moments is what makes my job so rewarding. Thank you, Michelle and Matt, for letting me be a part of Kendall’s special day!
