Hoboken Waterfront Surprise Proposal

Kevin proposed to Katie on the Hoboken Waterfront on a beautiful spring day with the picturesque NYC skyline as their backdrop. Their day started with lunch at their favorite Mexican spot, Taqueria in Jersey City. Setting the stage for what Katie thought was a casual Friday off and what soon turned into an unforgettable day.

Kevin had reached out to me weeks in advance, filled with excitement and determination to make his proposal to Katie absolutely perfect. His enthusiasm was contagious, and I was thrilled to help him plan the details. We met a couple of days before the big day to scope out the ideal location. After exploring the area, we decided on the 12th Street Pier in Hoboken – a spot that promised stunning views and a touch of serenity.

On the day of the proposal, Kevin and Katie were supposed to head to Pier 13 for afternoon drinks after their lunch. However, instead of going straight to Pier 13, Kevin led Katie to the 12th Street Pier. As they walked along the pier, the anticipation was palpable. I sat on a bench incognito pretending to be on my phone as my other hand gripped my camera. When they reached the perfect spot at the end of the pier, Kevin got down on one knee and asked Katie to marry him.

Katie’s reaction was priceless – a mixture of shock, joy, and overwhelming love. It was a beautiful moment, and I felt honored to be there, capturing every second. After the proposal, we spent the afternoon taking photos along the Hoboken waterfront. We stopped in a park for casual photos on a bench and walking through the greens and then back towards the waterfront. It was a stunning spring day for their proposal!

Once we finished up our photoshoot, Katie and Kevin headed to Pier 13 for drinks to celebrate! … Just an hour later than expected. Haha!

The day wasn’t over for us yet though! A couple of hours later, I headed to The Madison in Hoboken for their engagement party! Kevin had arranged this last surprise of the day to celebrate their love with all their friends and family. The evening was a joyous celebration of love, with everyone coming together to congratulate the happy couple.

I’m grateful to have been a part of it and to have witnessed the beginning of their next chapter together. Congratulations, Kevin and Katie!
