Sunrise at Central Park
There’s nothing quite like Central Park at sunrise. The park is quiet and the people are calm. It’s relaxing, inspiring, and worth the early wake-up. Central Park at sunrise is the antithesis of New York City’s hustle and bustle after sunrise. So, when Shayna and Ryan explained that they wanted to do their engagement shoot in New York, but they didn’t want too many people around, I knew a sunrise session in Central Park would be perfect!
And it was perfect! We started the morning at Bethesda Fountain running up and down the stairs to warm up. As the sun started to peak through the morning gloom, the stone stairs illuminated Shayna and Ryan serving a cozy feel. Then we headed toward ‘The Mall’ where Ryan adorably twirled Shayna around!
I love how much Central Park has to offer! Within steps, your canvas can be a grand staircase, a gorgeous pond, greenery, a park bench, and more! Shayna and Ryan trusted that although the trees were bare and the temperature was chilly it didn’t matter because these photos would encapsulate their love. Also, their wedding in Florida next year will definitely make up for the brisk NYC morning shoot!
Cheers Shayna and Ryan! It was so fun to capture your engagement session at sunrise in Central Park!
